AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): At the height of the negligence Tripura’s maximum police stations’ land phones have been cut whereas the major police station’s mobile numbers are cut from ‘incoming facility’ due to unpaid bills to BSNL.

This problem is having since many years creating much problems for the common people for the emergency times.

 In many police stations, even at SDPO Office phones are left cut due to the huge bill pending to BSNL. Although at the capital city the numbers are active but across Gomati, South Tripura the facility is not available.

 In some places as Belonia Women PS, Bodhjungnagar the landphone is out of order since years and with mobile phones all the works are going on.

But the mobile numbers are unknown to the common people that often creates problems in the emergency hours.
