AMARPUR, Aug 9 (TIWN): Once again allegation has raised against ruling CPI-M for attacking a senior citizen and his family at Amarpur.

The incident took place at Amarpur at around night 9 AM, when a clash emerged among both the opposite party supporter families.

Reportedly, the BJP supporter Krishnacharan Das’s home’s water pipeline has come via neighbour Parimal Das’s home, who is a hardcore CPI-M.

Earlier, the relation between two families were good but recently after Krishnacharan’s family went in BJP the relation turned bad.

 However, Parimal Das and his family members had cut the water connectivity of Krishnacharan Das’s home on Aug-6. When Krishnacharan Das asked about it, Parimal Das rudely declined to talked to him.

Later when local people went to Parimal Das’s house the family also began fighting with everyone.

After that at night 9 AM the family members of Parimal Das came to Krishnacharan Das’s home and started to beat Parimal Das’s wife, daughter and daughter in law. When Parimal Das returned to home and attempted resque the women, then the 80 years old Krishnacharan Das was injured on his hand with ‘Da’.

This incident has generated resentment among the common people of that area. Parimal Das’s family has accused 3 persons : Ratan Das, Panchayat member Gopal Das, Haradhan Das, Parimal Das and Suniti Das. All of them are CPI-M members.
