AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): Election bound Tripura witnessing massive organized violence due to CPI-M Govt’s stern actions as IPFT’s unruly hooligans yet to face a single bullet from security forces even though a dozen of naked IPFT apes blocked Tripura’s lifeline NH-8 for 10 days successfully. In Bodhjungnagar arson & violence, total 10 persons (majority IPFT supporters, few CPI-M cadres) have been sent for jail custody and one Rabindra Debbarma have kept in police custody, whereas one person was released by court on Wednesday for being juvenile. TIWN spoke with SP West Abhijit Saptarshi and as per SP West, Police is taking strict actions and also total four cases had been registered linked with the Bodhjung Nagar incident, said Saptarshi.

SP also mentioned that section 144 will remain enforced till the situation comes fully under control.

"Police to take action against the people who spread the rumour with fake picture and we are now investigating on it", said SP.

"Police is not against any particular political party. We just want to keep the peace hold over there", Saptarshi added.

On Tuesday, atleast 30 policemen were injured, including media persons in Tripura on Tuesday when IPFT attacked them.

Their complaint was a tribal woman has been kidnapped, but asking the woman named Mallika Tripura about this false propaganda, she was shocked thats she was kidnapped.

However, court has also taken Mallika Tripura's statement on the issue and it has been recorded so far. The woman was found in Raishabari in northern Tripura's Dhalai district.

IPFT's unruly cadres  damaged government properties and attacked Bodhjungnagar police station and TSR (Tripura State Rifles) camp." Drug addicted IPFT cadres were claiming that a young tribal woman was kidnapped t

SP Abhijit Saptarshi who was also injured in the stone pelting, said the agitating mobs also damaged transformers and other assets. SP said that among the injured were police, TSR, Central Reserve Police Force personnel and senior security officials.

Police resorted to mild lathicharge and brust tear-gas cells to disperse the mob. Orders prohibiting any gathering of five or more people under Section 144 of the CrPC have been imposed in the area.

The section 144 will remain for more 24 hrs with the 48 hour's completion.

In the meanwhile on wednesday IPFT Supremo N.C.Debbarma quite dramaticaly claimed in a press conference  that Bodhjungnagar CPI-M cadres are responsible for arson & violence.

N.C.Debbarma also admitted that a section of IPFT youths were involved in Bodhjungnagar violence apart from CPI-M's youth wings TSU,TYF.

Surprisingly Manik Sarkar will never touch N.C.Debbarma for these organized violence after NH-8 10 day blockade,  neither Chief Minister will allow Police to take strong action against these hooligans.

Needless to say, Tripura witnessing CPI-M, IPFTs naked politics to widen commucal divide so that votes are polarized in 2018 Assembly Election.
