AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): CPI-M's 24 years misrule, nepotism, Govt apathy for college educated youths turning an example of how corruption, negative politics ends at a certain point. Tripura’s common people on a single day held various separate protests in different Depts raising voice against the long deprivation done to the people here. State witnessed 4 protests with serious allegations from each group of deprived youths. At the end, the Ministers almost stopped meeting the protesters that generated much more resentment among the protesters. Despite of 21 % salary hike, the MGNREGA workers in demand of fulfilling their demand continues work-strike. Apart from that 3 more non-political protests held on Monday mainly linked with job recruitment issues. Following the SC's order for filling up the vacant posts, Tripura Govt released advertisement for 14000 teachers on Saturday asking the B.Ed holders to submit their applications for the interview. But, Tripura's ongoing fresh B.Ed students just for few months of gap in between their College examination and the Govt's TET interview would not be able to sit in the interview.

But being worried about whether in coming future such a huge job advertisement would be published by Tripura Govt, the agitated ongoing B.Ed candidates gheraoed Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty's house. The candidates also wanted to meet the Chief Minister, but later due the Education Minister talked to them.

There are total 386 irregular employees in Forest Dept are working since 15 years, but the state govt has no concern to make them regular, led them to raise voice on Monday against the state govt. The agitators further said that on Sunday the met the Forest Minister Naresh Jamatia at his residence, but instead of showing sympathy the Forest Minister blasted them asking whereas BJP has sent them with demands. Naresh Jamatia told the protesters, "Has BJP President Biplab Deb sent you to meet me? Being paid by Tripura Govt everyone is showing agitation against the Govt?". Eventhough the visiting hours were hanged before the Minister's house from (8 to 9) AM, but on Monday morning since 7 AM the employees were waiting to meet the Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha, but he neither met them, nor gave any further appointment and led the security guard to repulse them from the gate.

The highest agitation was shown by NET /SLET/ P.hD qualified unemployed youths on Monday. Whereas state is burdened with 600 number of scholars, who have completed their P.hD or already passed SLET/ NET under UGC. But since 6 to 7 years there is no recruitment for Asst Professors whereas Colleges are still undergoing heavy crisis of Asst Professors. For the first time, when state govt is acting as the beneficiary of 10,323 school teachers, then the NET /SLET/ P.hD qualified candidates have made a forum named 'All Tripura Unemployed NET/ SLET / P.hD' and joined together to fight back unemployment that has become their fates, even though they deserved more.
