AGARTALA, May 19 (TIWN): BJP leader Subol Bhowmik as a part of his reaction to Govt's decision about 12000 new posts and 1000 more in other dept, said that this is obviously result of protests by opposition parties, but the chances must be given equally to all qualified people suitable for the posts. However, SSA, RMSA teachers having 3/ 5 years experiences will be allowed to sit in the test, but as Tapan Chakraborty said, no interview will be held but just picking up with qualification, Subol Bhowmik said that they will again lost their jobs if anyone file case. "Govt has to give everyone equal opportunity with valid process and justified recruitment policy", said Bhowmik. Bhowmik further referred Haryana CM's imprisonment and said in Tripura also CM is initiating all the illegal recruitments as Om Prakash Choutala. If any person file case, Manik Sarkar's fate may be similar. Bhowmik also mentioned, "Hostel warden posts are just an insult to the teachers. There are 7000 vacant posts for teachers in Tripura and if Govt wants it can recruit again.

7000 vacant posts for teachers are there, but Govt has no will to fill up the vacancies, when more than 200 TET qualifiers are yet jobless, said Bhowmik.

Tripura Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty's bogus claims about 12,000 new jobs for 10323 teachers rehabilitation seems blatant fake as neither the central govt will approve these fundingsnor the incomeless CPI-M State govt has capacity to give the teacherssalaries at its own expense.

However, the teachers as hostel warden, school assistants, librarians will be kept in fixed scale salaries. Tripura Govt in the press release giving a long introduction about Tripura's 97 % literacy rate and Good Governance said that for the sake of development in Education more 12,000 posts will be filled up. When media asked Chakraborty, what will be the interview procedure for these posts, he said, "There will not be any written or walk-in-interview test but just a formal choosing of eligible candidates".

Earlier, CPI-M's theft was done silently but now it has come for open illegal recruitments. Thus in this move to save the faces Govt will recruit the teachers in very low ranked jobs with fixed salaries.

For 1) Academic Councilor 1200 posts, 2) Student Councilor 3,400, 3) School Library Assistant 1,500, 4) School Assistant 5,600 posts. Whereas Academic Counsellor (1200), Student Counsellor (4300), School Library Assistant (1500) and Hostel Warden (300) with 5 years experience & for School Assistant posts  3 years of teaching experience.

It's for sure that till December-2017 the interview can not be held as the teachers will remain still as teachers before they mentally prepare for demotions. After that interview will held if in January then almost Election will knock the door. All these have created a horrible situation in the Education Dept.

Question also raised why for librarian, hostel warden Tripura Govt has sought 5 years experience ? What's the link between teacher and hostel warden ? Amidst all these, Tripura Govt has created a chaos across the state.

BJP leader Subal Bhowmik told TIWN immediately after the announcement that all these are just for show ahead of Assembly Election-2018.

This news is based on Tapan Chakraborty's press conference statement, where he said 'a simple interview just for picking up candidates'.
