AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): Tripura Police’s self-induced paralysis continue as police failed to submit any report on Anuara murder case on Saturday so Court had no option other than to handover the case in CID's hand. Immediately protests raised in demand of CBI inquiry, instead of CID as State CID is nothing but another lameduck institution under Manik Sarkar’s corrupt rule.

 Surprising matter is that on behalf of Nur Muhammad the lawyer was CPI-M’s preferred  Raghunath Mukharjee, who also was the lawyer of rape accused SDM Panna Ahmed. Mukharjee claimed that his client is 'innocent' and out of pressure he was arrested. 

Ahmed has been produced before the court at 1 PM after he was arrested on Friday night following bundles of incessant protest of Anuara's friends at Post Office Chowmuhani.  

On Saturday, when Nur Muhammad was taken to Court,  students were protesting showing banners for 'justice'. Police's failure to submit CD has raised the resentment further. The forensic report revealed that Anuara was killed brutally with poisons by her maternal uncle Nur Muhammad, SP West Abhijit Saptarshi told media in a press meet in West Police station on 9pm, Friday.

However, Agartala Dist & Sssions Judge Hena Begum has sent Nur Muhammad 3 days of JC and the next hearing will be on Monday. 

 Anuara's father complained that she was raped repeatedly at her uncle's house, but she never told her father but after her death he came to know about all these.

Anuara's father Abdulla Amin, friends alleged that Anuara's uncle Jakir Hossain's son Sani Aktar had raped her and later she was beaten by her family members which killed her pathetically. Demands raised that if Nur Ahmed and his wife is arrested then everything will be clear. But unfortunately whereas they were brought for interrogation, but released soon, that generated much anger among the students.

On 9th April, suddenly she was admitted at Hospital and died suspiciously. She wanted to talk to her father at hospital, but before he arrived she died. But her uncle without any procession gave her 'Kabar', (grave).

But local people alleged that she was killed by her family and immediately political parties raised protest roars, but police just acted like it was a normal death.
