AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress in a one day long conference on Legal & Human Rights Dept claimed that High Court was interested to initiate CBI enquiry in Tripura Rose Valley scam but BJP led Union Home Ministry denied permission. A letter was also sent to Home Ministry in this regard, but the Home Minister's dept. instead of suggesting CBI enquiry in Chit Fund case, denied CBI to interfere in the case. As a result High Court asked Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Rose Valley scam, claimed Pijush Kanti Biswas at T B Auditorium Hall on Saturday. If just for advertising Chit fund, CBI can arrest West Bengal leaders, why Tripura's leaders have been released at free ? Biswas added. State BJP’s failure to push for CBI investigation against Manik Sarkar raised the doubt about secret understanding between Biplab Deb and Tripura CM.

However, recently, another Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath just said the opposite and claimed that Central govt has nothing to do with CBI. But if CM wants, then he can call CBI to investigate the case.

Multicrore Rose Valley Chit-Fund scam investigation turning more cloudy day after day due to Manik Sarkar Govt’s non-cooperation even after High Court’s order for an independent SIT (Special Investigation). As of January’2017, SIT under the charge of K.V. Sreejesh filed only 20 chargesheets against various Chit Fund scams in Tripura, surprisingly excluding CPI-M’s most favored Rose Valley company.

However, from Tripura the RoseValley mastermind Ashok Saha was arrested in 2015 by CBI, but HC never directed SIT not to investigate the case.

Moreover, CBI inquiry against Rose Valley has been the utmost priority of the public, as multi-crores of public money was looted by Rose Valley, allegedly under the sustain of few CPI-M leaders.

Apart from that Rose Valley properties were not also sealed in Tripura, but after HC asked the status of property seizing then all the properties of Rose Valley had been sealed by govt of Tripura.

Infact in the beginning of the year K.V. Sreejesh himself said that the SIT had taken up 78 cases and total 20 chargesheets are done in this regard.

Thus proper investigation against Rose Valley by SIT  is far way, but it didn’t include Rose Valley’s name too.

However, HC has asked about the status of Rose Valley and the status of Rose Valley property seizing.

The way the state govt avoided CBI inquiry by sending wrong data tp CBI, in the same manner SIT also assisting Rose Valley to stay far from investigation.

Rose Valley is 10 times bigger scam then other scams held in Tripura. But allegedly Tripura Govt sent a wrong data on Rose Valley with a very minimum amount of Rs. 10,000/- and Rs. 5,4000/- on the peak time which led the case to delay.

ut the oppositions claimed that from the beginning CPI-M has taken plan-wise steps so that Rose Valley never comes under any CBI. In 2013 with an aim to cancel CBI inquiry against Rose Valley the cases were sent with a very minimum account, so that no CBI inquiry could occur in coming future.

Even at High Court also whereas other chit fund companies names were pushed to the Justice’s benches but the SIT missed Rose Valley’s name, even after so much of protests.

SIT Chief said that as CID is investigating the case, so SIT will not interfere in it. In this condition CBI inquiry, SIT inquiry nothing is going to happen with Rose Valley under the shelter of CPI-M Govt.
