AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): TIWN correspondent, photo journalists stayed till midnight in front of West PS (Police Station) to record the grave pain and frustration of Anuara’s friends who wailed for her justice, sat on road with candles blocking West PS entrance at Post Office Chowmuhani till wee hours on midnight (early hours Saturday). Anuara’s friends cry failed to wake up Chief Minister and other Ministers, Opposition leaders who live within half km of Post Chowmuhani. From DGP to Chief Minister all washed off their hands so hapless West SP Abhijit Saptarshi stayed till midnight to handle this sensitive protest against State’s apathy on crimes against women.

TIWN spoke with Anuara’s friends on Friday midnight at Post Office Chowmuhani but found that student community highly dissatisfied with Police inaction in this sensitive murder case. 

No political leaders, rulng CPI-M or Oppostion had courage to face these youngsters wailing through the night for their friend Anuara's murder.

Scam tainted Nagraj was charge sheeted by CBI in 2003,2007 and Andhra Pradesh Vigilance Dept for various misappropriation (theft) of funds, swindling of crores under active patronage from ‘clean’ Tripura CM.

Manik Sarkar’s evil plan caused  Tripura’s dynamic Police Force to become another lameduck force at the mercy of CPI-M leaders -  so continued crimes against women fail to wake up the State’s Home Minister cum Chief Minister. Tripura ranks 4^th highest crimes against women as per NCRB data.

Friday, May 12,2017 News Update on Police's release of post mortem report after much delay :

Manik Sarkar’s remote controlled Police Dept started losing its reputation since 2014 after ‘clean’ Chief Minister appointed India’s most corrupt CBI charsheeted IPS officer cum noted thief K.Nagraj as DGP of Tripura Police who was recently terminated by Union Home Ministry as Home Minister Rajnath Singh ordered to expedite cases against all corrupt IPS officials. 

Now it’s all clear why Anuara’s body was given funeral without informing the police. Proving the allegations of  Anuara’s father, friends as true the post mortem report revealed that Anuara was killed brutally with poisons by her maternal uncle, SP West Abhijit Saptarshi told media in a press meet at 9 PM in West Police station. However, to save administration’s face police said that it was on yesterday that the PM report came in hand, whereas Nur Ahmed was given release after the inquiry  held today. Police have arrested Nur Muhammad  following the unbeatable protest of Anuara’s friends on Agartala’s street and shocking PM report published. SDM S Choudhury also remained present with SP Abhijit Saptarshi in the press meet.

Anuara's friends sat in demonstration  by road blocking at Post Office  in the evening saying, 'We will continue our protest until the all accused are arrested and till PM reports comes in our hand, it’s enough of our patience”. The students blocked the road for hours and  has continued their demonstration led the police to publish the PM Report.

The resentment among the students raised when on Friday after bundles of protests held demanding justice for Anuara police brought  Anuara's uncle Nur  Muhammad  for inquiry, but soon released with full respect.

He was first brought at West Police Station, later was taken to Police Headquarter, where DIG Arindam Nath  held the interrogation, but he was not arrested. Trinamool Chatra Parishad, ABVP, NSUI (except CPI-M backed SFI) all joined in the protest without party banner, said sources.

Anuara's father complained that she was raped repeatedly at her uncle's house, but she never told her father but after her death he came to know about all these.

Anuara's father Abdulla Amin, friends alleged that Anuara's uncle Jakir Hossain's son Sani Aktar had raped her and later she was beaten by her family members which killed her pathetically. Demands raised that if Nur Ahmed and his wife is arrested then everything will be clear. But unfortunately whereas they were brought for interrogation, but released soon, that generated much anger among the students.

On 11 April, suddenly she was admitted at Hospital and died suspiciously. She wanted to talk to her father at hospital, but before he arrived she died. But her uncle without any procession gave her 'Kabar', (grave). But local people alleged that she was killed by her family and immediately political parties raised protest roars, but police just acted like it was a normal death.

However, today’s incident has proven that if voice is strong then corrupt administration falls. Now, the GB Hospital staff will be in problem as their death certificate said that ‘Anuara died out of HEART ATTACK’ !
