AGARTALA, May 3 (TIWN): Instead of blaming each other and to damage the peace of the state further, newly joined BJP leader Ashok Sinha has called for peace, seeking a statement also from the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.

However, on the other hand SFI has protested  at Agartala reacting against the alleged attack upon their leader Nabarun Deb on Tuesday night by BJP members.

In the press meet Sinha said on Wednesday afternoon, "CM had delivered a wrong statement on May-Day by inspiring the people of working class and youths towards a wrong direction.

It's worthy to mention here that CM on May 1st, 2017 asked the people to 'come out of home and protest against the newly emerging Capitalist party, which may damage the peace of the state  in coming days'... & according to Ashok Sinha due to the  unbalanced speech of CM such incidents are taking place.

On behalf of BJP's clarification, Sinha added that the incidents were chronological with proofs of many BJP supporters are admitted in hospital right now. On the other hand BJP leader Tapas Majumder said, 'I myself was present on that time including the troops and nothing happened like that. Nabarun's incident is fully a decorated episode by them'.

'Kamalpur's Paritosh Pal, Suryamaninagar's Sushanta Ch. Bhowmik are the victims who eventhough lodged FIR by mentioning the attackers names but no action was taken in this regard. CPI-M also threw stones at BJP rally', said Sinha.

Referring 2013's election's post-violence issues, Sinha said, "The pattern of Manik Sarkar led violence was recorded in 2013. During 7 day of violence CM was silent, whereas when situation cooled down then CM stated on behalf of peace-maintenance. As he is also the Home Minister, it's his duty to call for peace right now".

'From BJP we are calling for peace along with a warning to stop violence by ruling CPI-M', Sinha added.
