KAILASHAHAR, March 13 (TIWN): Even monsoon hasn’t begin at all, but the sufferings have been started across Tripura. At Jubaraj Nagar, Kailashar villagers agonies have no end after the first rain hit the area.

Reportedly, Jubaraj Nagar’s road has become muddy and the water level reached till knee-level. Jubaraj Nagar’s (No-3) ward local people are in demand of faster solution to the problem.

The Panchayat Pradhan Masabbir Ali said that from Gouranagar bock Rs. 2 lakhs have been sanctioned. As soon as the rain will stop, work to begin in full swing.

Question raised, since last 3 months when it was dry season, why the work was not taken in hand ? Now after monsoon begins, the work will never be possible in smooth manner as anytime rain may hit, resulting huge losses of purchased items for the road.

The Panchayat Office lined half KM road has been kept without cementing. The long 50 meter road with few splashes of rain has turned a death-zone, now it can be imagined what will be the condition of the road in coming monsoon.

Vehicles, bikers movements are quite impossible and risky through this road, but no initiative has been taken by Panchayat to release the water.

Locals alleged that since years this road is left in such miserable shape.

This Jubaraj Nagar block panchayat members role under scanner as opposition Trinamool has recently exposed how Jubraj Nagar poor people are deprive of PMAY scheme’s proper benefit.

In this condition development of rural Tripura is under question.
