2017’s 2nd earthquake’s epi-centre was North Tripura

AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN): For the 2nd time in 2017 and all over history of earthquake in Northeast till day, the epi-centre of the earthquake was at North Tripura.
The first tremor of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale with its epicentre at Dibang Valley in north Arunachal Pradesh was recorded at 5.30 a.m.
While, the second quake of magnitude 4.0 with its epicentre in northern Tripura was recorded at 12.32 p.m.
The last Earthquake’s epicenter was Tripura. Being in Himalayan region, Northeast State Tripura is facing high threats of earthquakes.
On last 3rd January also, Tripura had shaken up with 5.7 Magnitude earthquake.
