Assets of two suspected killers attached

AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): Armed with the court order, police have attacked the movable and immovable assets of two accused persons in the sensational Dilip Ghosh murder. A police contingent led by SDPO Rajendrajit Dutta carried out raids in the houses of Niranjan Roy and Biman Das of Joypur area and forfeited all assets of two murder accused persons.Both criminals are now in judicial remand.

  Following requisition from the state police, the Interpol had already issued red corner notice against two absconding accused persons- Mujibar Rahaman and Balaram Rajbhar. According to intelligence inputs, Mujibar and Balaram, considered dreaded criminals active in the capita town have managed to take safe shelter in Bangladesh soil. Dilip Ghosh, player of a powerful negotiation group was murdered at Ramnagar Road no-9 in October last year. Police suspected, seven criminals, member of different negotiation group had ‘executed’ Dilip Ghosh as per pre-planned. In course of investigation, police have managed to arrest five suspected killers but Mujibar and Balaram are still remained elusive for the cops.

The Interpol has already issued red corner notice against two suspected killers and police are hopeful of getting them back very shortly. “The Interpol circulated the photographs of both criminals along with relevant papers in 195 countries around the globe. According our sources, they are holed up in Bangladesh. Bangladesh police have already got the Interpol notice and hopefully they will be arrested very shortly”, said a senior police officer.
