Kamalpur, July 01 (TIWN): By paying an annual premium of Rs 100 only, the family of Rajkumar Sinha, SBI Savings Bank accountholder and resident of Kamalpur availed accidental coverage of Rs 4 lakh from SBI General Insurance provider.
State Bank of India, the largest bank of the nation about a year back, has introduced cheapest accidental insurance of Rupees 4 lakh for SBI savings bank account holders. Under this insurance scheme, by paying an annual premium of Rs. 100 only every SBI Savings Bank accountholder may avail accidental coverage of Rupees 4 lakh from SBI General insurance provider.
SBI has launched this scheme with tagline “Your family’s happiness is priceless Protect it”. SBI General’s Group Personal Accident Insurance policy has provided facility to get Rs. 4 lakh sum assured for an annual premium of Rs. 100/- only. It is issued under the group personal accident insurance master policy issued to SBI covering savings bank accountholders.
One Rajib Sinha, younger son of Rajkumar Sinha, hailing from Mohanpur village, Kamalpur on Oct 27, 2013 breathed his last in a fatal accident he met at Mizoram. After his death, his father applied for the Personal Accidental Insurance at SBI, Kamalpur branch. Later, on the event of 59th Foundation Day of SBI held today at SBI, Kamalpur branch, Manager Prabal Ranjan Dey handed over the Accidental Insurance of Rs 4 lakh to Rajkumar Sinha through a cheque.
Regional Manager of SBI Tulsi Debbarma, Krishnaram Debbarma and others remained present there during the programme. Addressing the programme, Prabal Ranjan Dey urged the bank customers to avail Rs 4 lakh Accidental Insurance for an annual premium of Rs 100 only. The Foundation Day was also organized here at SBI, Manikbhandar branch and Bank Manager Bikramjit Bhattacharya remained present there in the programme. Sweets were distributed among the bank customers on the event of Foundation Day.
