Agartala, June 29 (TIWN): Tripura State Co-operative Bank (TSCB) Limited conducted its 31st annual general seminar at Netaji Subash Vidyaniketan conference hall, here today.
“At present, 54 complete and 7 extended TSCB branches existing in the state. Two new branches were inaugurated in the current fiscal 2013-14. The bank has net profited Rs 26.09 crore in the current financial year 2013-14. The CD ratio is being increased by 30.58 percent to 44.4 percent in the current fiscal. In total, the TSCB have provided loan of Rs 356.05 crore in the as on March 03, this year”, said the president of Tripura State Co-operative Bank (TSCB) Limited- Haripada Chakraborty.
Further he asserted that in the current fiscal 2013-14, in total Rs 16.89 crore was distributed among 16239 farmers as KCC loan across the state. Altogether, 184 samities have received agriculture loans in a recent past. Overall, TSCB offered loan of Rs 27.83 crore to 7438 groups under Tripura State Project on SHS. We have offered recapitalization assistance to the 11 samities and planning to give more.
According to press release issued by the TSCB, the TSCB have recently got membership of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. It was also mentioned in the press release that the loan portfolio of TSCB covers Crop Loans, Medium Term Loans and Long Term Loans for Agricultural purposes, Employees Cooperative Credit Societies and other Societies. TSCB is also extending finance to many Apex Cooperative institutions in the State. TSCB provides all types of banking facilities to it's customers through attractive deposit schemes and also various types of loans for it's clientele through its own branch network.
Minister for Co-operation and Fisheries- Khagendra Jamatia inaugurated the meeting by lighting the ceremonial lamp while other delegates of Tripura State Co-operative Bank attended the seminar.
