Kamalpur, June 26 (TIWN): After taking the charge as District Magistrate (DM) of Dhalai district in Tripura, Milind Ramteke today visited Kamalpur sub-division for the first time.
As a part of his trip, the new Dhalai DM Thursday visited BSM hospital of Kamalpur and interacted with the Sub-Divisional Medical officer (SDMO) - Narayan Paul about incumbent situation of the malaria afflicted people.
After the visit, he conducted a vital meeting with the chairman of Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat- Khana Das, vice-chairman- Dhirendra Paul including the other executive bodies of the Nagar Panchayat at the office premises.
During the meeting an important discussion held on taking necessary steps to prevent erosion of river banks, to extend the Nagar Nanchayat area and the land acquisition for the construction of new road in Nagar Panchayat areas.
Besides, for the establishment of new swimming pool and to create side wall in a pond near YRC club were also discussed in the meeting.
The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Kamalpur- Rabel Hemendra Kumar, DCM- Shyamjay Jamatia, and BDO of Durga Chowmohani block- Mohammad Hiyajuddin attended the meeting.
