AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): Seeking direct CBI inquiry into Tripura Rose Valley scam, Trinamool on Thursday held a 6 hours long protest at Agartala Paradise Chowmuhani. After the arrest of West Bengal’s Trinamool MP Sudip Banerjee, Tapas Paul, the vexed Trinamool leaders initiated many protests in the name of CBI inquiry’s demand also in Tripura, because according to TMC as well as Congress the Chief CPI-M leaders are involved in that multi-crore scam. On the other hand CPI-M politburos claimed that as Mamata Banerjee received a major face-loss due to the arrests of her MPs, Ministers in multiple Chit Fund cases, so she is much worried about Tripura’s Rose Valley episode. However, during this 6 hours long protest Trinamool President Asish Saha said that Tripura Govt is ruthless against the Rose Valley victims, as till day the Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha has failed to announce the whole amount looted by agency Rose Valley.“Tripura Govt’s direct relation with Rose Valley was proven when it sent a wrong report to CBI with only 15,400 rupees record under this mentioned group".

MLA Sudip Barman said, “Whereas the amount was shown as Rs. 15,400/- but now it has been revealed that only against 3 cases under West PS, Rose Valley looted 97 crores. You can now imagine what will be the total amount in Tripura Rose Valley scam”.

“Don’t worry, we will let the Prime Minister know the actuality of Rose Valley and how CPI-M helped the group even after the scam was disclosed”, said Barman.

“CPI-M govt is the most killer, ruthless Govt ever in the Country”, Barman added.

It’s worthy to mention here that in the award ceremony some reporters asked Tripura CM Manik Sarkar regarding his connection with Rose Valley Scam. Irked with the situation, he said,” Do not try to equate me with Mamata Banerjee. The allegations are completely false. Mine is an open book and I have nothing to hide." In a comment towards WestBengal CM, he said:  "She (Banerjee) is saying this to save her skin in the Saradha Narada and Rose Valley issues."

However, thus it’s to be seen how far Bengal’s Rose Valley protest will be successful to conduct CBI inquiry here.
