AGARTALA, Jan 8 (TIWN) : Tripura Government is striving hard to shun away from CBI investigation in Rose Valley scam .A report from the state police department stated Government is trying to agile up with SIT investigation followed by submitting of charge sheet so that it could take a bolt from CBI.
The efficiency of SIT‘s investigation in the scam is contentious. Although SIT team formulation will be as per the decision of High Court but members will be from the state police department. So, the result of the investigation is already foreseen.
Till date, SIT investigated 78 cases which have not included the two noted cases of Rose Valley-West Agartala P.S Case no.140/2013 and 141/2013.
Earlier, Tripura Government has sent three cases registered with west PS regarding the scam to CBI. But CBI has not agreed to investigate the cases as these were concerning meagre amount of money-MLA Ratan Lal Nath and MLA Sudip Roy Barman have accused the government of doing so deliberately.
Why State government is postponing to take proper action against chit fund scams? Why no CBI action for Tripura? Are the ministry involved in the fraudulent scam in pauperising the common man? Proper investigation may end up with many high profiles red handed. And this would be a nightmare for 23 years CPIM dictatorship.
