AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Even though Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar led CPI-M Govt's mass corruptions with thousands of crores Central Funds, Chit Funds but successive Central Govts from Congress to BJP chosen to remain mute spectators. Newly elected State President of Tripura Trinamool, Asish Saha pointed fingers against the silence of Central Govt against Tripura CPI-M’s rampant corruption. Saha further said, “Various dubious Chit fund companies in Tripura were actively given freedom to rob common people so that CPI-M can fill party funds. Chit Fund groups had full support of Manik Sarkar Govt and that’s why till date the Govt is not keen on doing proper investigation". "Central funds which are supposed to be spent transparently, but due to massive corruption in Tripura by CPI-M, the real beneficiaries have been deprived but BJP led Centre’s role is mute spectato.

"Even though they can take bold steps against State Govt  manipulated corruptions in Tripura, but the govt is maintaining a kind of silence here. So TMC now will initiate mass protests soon" added Saha.

The chit fund issue mainly highlighted  after the winter Assembly session, where the issue of chit fund raised after Sudip Barman attended the Assembly.

It’s worthy to mention here that in the last Assembly session CM Manik Sarkar said, “Investigation is going on in full wave in chit fund cases”.

The issue was raised by Opposition MLA Sudip Barman in the Assembly and he asked, “Yrs have been passed in the name of investigation, why CPI-M govt is not calling CBI inquiry in this chit fund case”. Manik Sarkar replied, “Please hold for sometimes more, we have to figure out the whole amount which has been looted by the chit fund companies from the common people”.

However, about the amount Sarkar could not say anything and diverted the issue to the Finance Dept. Following that Sudip Barman told him that his role is fictitious. Sarkar further said, “We do not have any problem if CBI inquiry is held. Not only rose valley there are many companies which looted public money”.

Rose Valley is  7 times bigger ponzi scam than Sarada and country’s highest ever chit fund group, but eventhough opposition party’s raised voice to run direct CBI investigation in Tripura Rose Valley scam, but at the ruling showed never interest in it, rather it preferred Tripura Police, SIT in it.

After the failure of Tripura Police, High Court ordered SIT to submit fresh report on the chit fund scams. But crossing the last date for submission of  chargesheet, SIT has miserably shown its capacity for investigation. Day by day the data, sources are losing but Tripura Govt is happy with the slow progress of SIT investigation.

CBI at West Bengal’s didn’t bothered to send ruling party Leaders like Madan Mitra into jail for 21 months,

but CPI-M Ministers anyhow trying to end the Rose Valley issue in Tripura.

But presently no action is taking against Tripura’s massive chit fund frauds as SIT again fails to submit chargesheet on July 31st  at High Court.  All of the 70 chit fund cases lying dead under SIT.

But the direct CBI investigation if started soon may bring few hopes in the development of the investigation.

However, TMC new President has claimed that the party will hold mass protest in coming days against the Chit Fund issue, Central Fund Embezzlement issue and also increasing crime against women.
