AGARTALA, Dec 7 (TIWN): A group of tribals in Tripura are undergoing enormous tensions, due to some brainwashing consistently done upon them with many political aims.

Surprising but true, Tribals on Wednesday placed memorandum to the govt of Tripura claiming that in Tripura many illegal migrants are living from Afganistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

After 1947 followed by India’s partisan, enormous refugees influxed  in Tripura, who should not be allowed to live here anymore and Govt should send them to other states or other countries, tribals said.

But according to history what is true about Tripura is that the state before 1949 was not under India and in 1949 the Queen handed over the state to the Indian Govt with some ‘exchanges’ which are still giving by the govt of India to the Royal Families.

The people who sheltered in Tripura were actually Indians before partisan of India, and they later preferred to remain as Indians due to some tortures done upon them at those countries.

But after many years a section tribals are emerging with full of negativity.

However, political experts told TIWN that in democracy everyone has right to raise voice but to grant it or not it's upto the Govt of India.
