Central Govt funded laboratory inaugurated at Kailashahar

KAILASHAHAR, Oct 26 (TIWN): Kalpana Debnath, Sabhadipati, Unakoti Zilla Parisad inaugurated at Kailashahar.

The laboratory is equipped with ultra modern equipments associated with ‘Brainstem Evoked Audiometry’ (BERA) and ‘Oto acoustic Emission Measures’ (OAE) used for hearing of difficult cases and cases with deafness, hearing loss and delayed speech and language development  especially in children and in all new born babies ranging  zero to six years of age, informed TIWN correspondent from Kailashahar. 

Pramatha Ranjan Battacherjee, DM and Collector of Unakoti district cum the chairman of District Management Team of District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (North Tripura) said that the Central government has financed a huge amount for this laboratory.

Further he appealed to the audiences and political representatives present at the function to come forward in terms of publicity of such facilities so that the patients, throughout Tripura could get the benefits of all equipments available at District disability Rehabilitation Centre (North Tripura). 

Pratima Das, Sabhadipati, Uttar Tripura Zilla parisad and Dr DK Karmakar, Chief Medical officer of Unakoti district were also remained present at the programme.
