BELONIA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Whole India celebrates its 70th Independence Day on 15 August 2016.

Along with the whole nation, South Tripura also celebrating Independence Day across school, colleges and in all govt/private organizations.

The country became independent from British colonialism on this day in 1947.

The day is celebrated with great enthusiasm across the District of the state.
