AGARTALA, AuG 11 (TIWN): Reacting over TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee speech at Swami Vivekanda stadium on Tuesday last, BJP state President Biplab Deb on Wednesday said that 2018 Assembly election results will say who will form the government in Tripura. The alliance in Bengal saw Manik Sarkar reportedly referring to the move as ‘historic blunder’, while the Congress in Tripura broke out in a series of protests. Eventually, in June six dissident Congress MLAs, led by Sudip Roy Burman — the son of former Tripura CM and veteran Congress leader Samir Ranjan Burman, joined the Trinamool Congress. In the blink of an eye, the Trinamool Congress emerged as the main opposition in Tripura.

Virtually setting the tune for her party's campaign ahead of the 2018 Tripura assembly polls, she enumerated the development projects initiated by her government in West Bengal at a rally here in Taking on her Tripura counterpart Sarkar, Banerjee flayed the Left regime for unleashing violence ignoring development.the northeastern state.
