AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): Talking about the Indo-Bangla Commercial growth, the 2nd High Commissioner of Bangladesh at Agartala told media that as India and Bangladesh has better communication tools including train and port relation, so, high possibilities are there the relation of investment and business will get a momentum with the opening a garment village in Tripura.

As already from fish and food items along with stone, steel and other goods are exporting from Bangladesh, so Bangladesh Govt. has thought about to promote the Indo-Bangla relation with this garment village, where various garment factories will be settle in Tripura.

However, in this regard there was no talk with Tripura Govt. This investment will be fully based on public investment.  It’s worthy to mention here although Central Govt. tried to promote the garment industry in Tripura, but all were in vain and in various urban haats as Purbasa cloths are the costly. So the private enterprises will be a positive attempt to develop the industrial and commerce relation between these two countries.

“Trade and Commerce is very important to make a relation strong between two countries. However, Bangladesh Govt. is thinking to open a Garment village in Tripura to promote garment industry and trade between two countries.  But yet the business visa number is less here, in compare to the tourist visa.

“Presently Indo-Bangla relation is excellent”, says Hossain. He also mentioned about the ongoing projects including Feni river bridge which will be completed in 2018.

Already India is having the internet facility and as well as the India Govt. penned to provide power to Bangladesh. However, the power project is not enough as the demand of people are high. However, in last year Bangladesh produced 15,000 MW Power and now moving towards a Digital country.

Few companies as Pran is in high demand in India and now this Garment industrial plan will develop the trade relation and grow the economy.
