AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Major allegations against CPI-M leaders for sheltering Panna Ahmed at Karimganj with the direction of Sports Minister Sahid Choudhury, a reliable source informed TIWN on Tuesday. Whereas nobody can pass through Assam Tripura National Highway due to it’s pathetic condition, neither by Train as red alert was all over Tripura for rapist TCS officer. Panna Ahmed raped a woman at his own Agartala residence. Police claimed that they went to arrest Ahmed at his home but he was absconding. Now question arises, just after the rape incident how Panna Ahmed vanished for Assam’s Karimganj? However, most likely Panna chosen Train to vanish, but if North Police was much alert then such incident would not have occurred. Surprisingly, when TIWN asked North Tripura SP Manik Lal Das on Tuesday about Panna’s returning back in state he said, “I am transferred to North Tripura, so the Panna matter I do not know.” Question arises if SP doesn’t know anything then what was the meaning of so called the ‘red alert’ to nab Panna?

Just after the arrest of Tripura’s rape accused Panna Ahmed was arrested at Karimganj, allegations are coming against Tripura Minister Sahid Choudhury that Minister arranged shelter for Panna Ahmed at Karimganj. 

Just after the arrest of Panna Ahmed at Karimganj, allegations are coming against Tripura Minister Sahid Choudhury that Minister arranged Panna Ahmed’s accommodation by using his Karimganj mafia connections.

A Karimganj source informed to TIWN correspeondent  that Panna Ahmed was living on rent at Sephali Dey’s house at Karimganj Town but Sefali Dey didn’t know anything about Panna Ahmed.

Karimganj Police informed TIWN that Panna was staying on rent at Karimganj only since 3 days.

The person who negotiated the rent at Sefali Dey’s home is very close to Sports Minister Sahid Choudhury. But atlast Sahid Choudhury could not save him as Assam's Karimganj  District police arrested Panna as a suspected ISI smuggler and then informed Tripura Police.

However, surprising matter is that whereas Tripura National Highway is closed, Trains are surveilance, how Panna Ahmed fled Karimganj without a powerful person’s help?

Moreover it was not possible for to find a rent in an unknown place like Karimganj within a short time without intervention of terrorrist Maun Miah's relative Sports Minister Shahid Chowdhury ?

It’s well-known that Panna Ahmed was earlier appointed as SDM Sonamura in place of upright SDM Subhashis Das as over Rs 100 crores Ganja fields were destroyed.

Moreover various land-allegation and smuggling charges was brought against him many times, but as Panna Ahmed is a relative of Sahid Choudhury he was saved again and agains.

Smuggler Panna in the uniform of TCS Officer, started illegal activities as per wishes of Minister Sahid Choudhury’s support was with him and also the blessing of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar who promoted Panna to the rank of Joint Director of Sports.
