KAMALPUR, July 11 (TIWN): The service of the TSECL turned a matter of public-wrath and discontent. Moreover, the transmission lines also turned dangerous as often the wires found to be broken at different places.

And the irregular service turned the border-security also a deep concern. Adding to it, the practice of corruption and misappropriation made the situation worse.

The service of TSECL remained a matter of concern for the years together here at Kamalpur. Though the present Senior Manager continued his best efforts to provide the best possible service, but all his efforts came to almost a big zero.

His hurly-burly failed to attain complete success due to many reasons and the situation remained the same in the entire district.

The transmission lines of the district remained more than three decades old. With the passing time, the pressure increased on those lines along with the power of electricity.

And as a result, the transmission lines often found to be broken suddenly at places. Again, the number of staffs also decreased in last one decade considerably. The government not found keen to recruit staffs.

The Corporation also curbed many facilities like providing vehicles and equipments to a great extent. All these made the sufferings of the consumers as well as the staffs increased.

As a result, the staffs could not attend the calls at the earliest and became prey to the public wrath. More importantly, as the work culture ruined, many of the border flood lights remained un-operative for last four to five months in the border areas of the sub-division.

Moreover, the habit of pocketing bribes and misappropriation by the officials also added to the misery of the Corporation.

The top brass remained busy in increasing the tariff and offering the state government its profits through colorful programs. But the fate and condition of the consumers continued to deteriorate.
