AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): Perturbed by the TMC’s ‘gherao’ of CM’s residence on Monday morning demanding arrest of rapist Panna Ahmed, Chief Minister discussed with Chief Secretary, DGP about the next steps to secure Agartala from miscreants and terrorist elements. Although late awakening, but Tripura CM finally started showing concerns about the deteriorating law and order situation and rise of Bangladesh’s Islamic Terrorism. In a meeting held at DM West office on Monday evening, CM held discussions with top echelons of administration about the continuous everyday-chaos before the Ministers residences, also discussed how to maintain law & order quick solution to such problems. Chief Secretary Y P Singh and DGP K Nagraj, IGP Anurag, SP Abhijit Saptarshi, Minister Manik Dey, Principal Secretary M Nagaraju, were also present during the meeting. CM further expressed concerns about the border security and asked to spike up high vigilance along Indo-Bangla border areas, Tripura-Bangladesh border area’s Hindu population are in panic as everyday people dying at Bangladesh due to attack of Bangladesh based Muslim fundamentalists.

As Tripura is Hindu majority state, so CM felt at last that some security need to be provided as Tripura’s most of the part are yet “unsealed

But the same CM  transferred honest SDM Sonamura Subhashish Das to help smugglers and replaced with rapist criminal SDM Panna Ahmed.

Former SDM Sonamura Subhashish Das  tried to crush  all illegal ganja plantation in Boxanagar India-Bangladesh border areas but he was transferred under the smuggling lobby.

Panna Ahmed, who is a career criminal, smuggler posted as the SDM in Sonamura, after which the borders in Sonamura became the den for open smuggling for Bangladeshi fundamentalists..

Now the same Panna Ahmed is in Bangladesh(as per source information) after he raped a women of state.

Earlier, SP Bishalgarh spoke to TIWN and said, “BSF and police are keeping their strict vigilance on that area”.

But in reality, Islamic fundamentalists are in huge numbers at Sonamura, and the peaceful balance at stake, said sources.

However, The Border Security Force (BSF) already intensified vigil along the Indo-Bangladesh border in the wake of the terror attack in Dhaka after the government sounded a high alert in bordering states. The action was taken after the Union Home Ministry has directed the Border Security Force (BSF) and other agencies to keep strict vigil along the international borders.

Although, Bangladesh on Sunday mourned the victims of the attack on a cafe in Dhaka in which Islamic State terrorists killed 20 persons, mostly foreigners, one of them an Indian, but in reality Bangladesh border areas especially Hindu populated areas are under high risk as anytime fundamentalist may attack and this kind of panic is gripping the public especially in border areas.

Another similar incident on Monday again increased the tension in Tripura border areas more.  This meeting this also focused on this border security issue.

It’s worthy to mention her that Twenty people, most of them foreigners, have been killed in an attack on a cafe in Bangladesh claimed by so-called Islamic State.

Gunmen stormed the Holey Artisan Bakery cafe in Dhaka late on Friday before troops entered almost 12 hours later. Terrorists asked victims to read Koran, and those who could not read they were killed.
