AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Tripura's common masses started direct revolt against CPI-M Govt's apathy in solving Petrol crisis as State's transportation crippled due to dry fuel pumps across State. There was no political party, but on Saturday the common people of Agartala City blocked Durgabari road for hours asking, ‘How the Tripura Ministers manage fuel for their vehicles whereas the whole state is suffering due to petrol crisis?’ According to the protestors, ‘Whatever the problem inside the state it is only the common people suffer, whereas the so called Political leaders Congress, BJP, CPI-M MLAs, Ministers never suffer’. Whereas the CM Manik Sarkar or his Ministers ride via Helicopter along with full security, the common people have to wait for hours in mile- long queues every day. Yesterday night till 12.30 am the petrol pump workers sold 1 litre petrol rationed to piled up vehicles at Agartala. Saturday morning protests turned violent so Traffic SP Smriti Ranjan Das alongwith protestors went to the inspect petrol pumps to check fuel-stocks to prevent black-marketing.

Tripura Civil Supplies Dept under inept Minister Bhanu lal Saha and his lameduck Director Soumitra Bandopadhay, Secretary S.K.Rakesh primarily responsible for utter mismanagement of fuel crisis which paralyzed State's transportation.

Question arise about those unaffected, unconcerned IAS, TCS officers sitting with CPI-M Ministers who never even flown to Assam or neighboring states to resolve fuel crisis, NH-44 restoration.

Hundreds of vehicles  were waiting from  Saturday 10am as they were promised by the petrol dealers . But suddenly at 10.30 am, the petrol pump workers announced that no petrol is left anymore.

It’s worthy to mention here that  the fuel crisis continues to plague the state with long queues Or with display board of ‘No Petrol’ hanging in front of the major petrol pumps even on Friday.

NH-44 which is known as lifeline of landlocked Tripura has been extensively damaged due to State PWD’s negligence, resulting petrol/ diesel crisis inside the state.

Tripura CM likely to witness many more mass protestes unless his helicopter savvy Govt's slumber breaks finally.
