KAMALPUR, June 2 (TIWN): In a significant move to strong the party at the left-dominated Marachara area which remained important for consecutive left front victory at Surma Assembly, BJP became able to hand over the saffron flag to the hundreds of voters from 30 left supporter families. The shifting of party loyalty in favour of BJP took place today at Marachara on the occasion of the death anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
On the occasion of the death anniversary of one of the founders of erstwhile Janasangha which later turned into BJP, the party opened their regional office at Marachara. For the first time BJP could open an office at Marachara. And in this occasion 30 families of leftist supporters including Makhan Das, Mithan Das, Babul Satnami, Lakshman Satnami, Swapan Das and others joined BJP. In the program, BJP District Secretary Paritosh Pal, BJP Sangathan Mantri Anadi Sarkar welcomed the new comers with party flag.
The new comers stated that, they got fooled by the ruling CPI-M party and could believe neither TMC nor Congress. Hence they joined BJP to oust the present state government from the power and to usher true development under the BJP government.
