AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): The storm of TBSE result scam does not seem to end in the state with BJP and BJP Yuva Morcha gheraoed the residence of Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty's residence this morning. Hundreds of BJP Karyakartas joined this movement. The movement was led by state BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik and General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik. TBSE made a shameless incident by publishing the result of only 3300 students of H S (+2 Stage ) examination this year . As such more than 500 students are still suffering as they have not yet got their complete result . Addressing the gathering Subal Bhowmik said ," TBSE has created a black chapter in the academic history of the state. Nowhere in the country such incident took place yet .
As such we demand complete and impartial investigation on this chapter ." Meanwhile BJP State Spokesman Subrata Chakraborty slammed the TBSE officials saying " It is absolutely absurd that more than 60% of the students got only 21 in many subjects. How can this be possible that a student gets 21 out of 70 in theoretical exam but he gets 25 to 29 and in some cases 30 out of 30 in practical exams ? "
In today's programme around 115 karyakartas were arrested by Tripura Police.
It is really very interesting that every year more than 500 students have to apply for review of marks by submitting Rs 30 /- per subject .
Thus , it is clear that TBSE runs a business centre in the name of Review of Results . This is nothing but an organized corruption.
Under Manik Sarkar led CPI-M Govt, Tripura's every Govt Dept from Rural Development to MGNREGA, Higher Education to Health, every Govt Dept turned into den of corruption.
