Malaria killed 2 children amidst lackluster medical facilities across State

AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): Once again malaria has attacked the state. The hills are more affected due to malaria.

Reportedly 2 children have died at kalajahari ADC Village  under Gandachara.

On May 3 Malaria has killed one named Arabinda Debbarma (27) on Monday. He died at Khowai Hospital, whereas many are ill at there, and was the first victim of malaria in the year.

Then 2 more deaths were reported from Santir Bazar. However, in rural areas many are suffering in hospitals, said sources.

Poor health service on hilly areas are alleging by the locals.

Malaria, which is a disease caused by parasites that enter the blood through the bite of a mosquito, is spreading across the rural areas of Tripura.

However lack of safe drinking water and source of protected drinking water in rural areas are causing various diseases as malaria, diarrhea, cholera and hepatitis.
