AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): Job recruitment policy violation held by Tripura Fire Service Dept. against 384 firemen posts has once again hits the state, as Chief Minister after promising the deprived youths to do fair with them with his personal interest, now keeping his mouth shut in this issue.

On Wednesday the deprived youths not only met the CM, but they also protested before the Fire Minister Khagendra Jamatia’s residence and then met him. They will continue their protest further, they said.

The job offers which were distributed among 384 youths, on the month of April,  among them however 11 posts were reserved for Civil Defence trained students. But according to the youths among the 11 candidates, only 4 candidates were eligible for the job, whereas the rest of the 7 youths had begged job via party channels. As per the laws, while recruiting firemen under Fire Service dept, a civil defence appealer must have atleast 7 year’s Experience with regular training programme records.

But the 7 candidates had only done with a 7 day's training proggramme, whereas many experienced people, who are presently engaged as the trainer for the new civil defense students couldn't not qualify for the job.

Tension more prevails among the unemployed youths as they are becoming overage.

The deprived then protested before the DM office, at Agartala and charged allegations against the state govt. for continuously depriving the youths of the state regarding govt-jobs. Talking to one of the deprived youths, he mentioned that they are further coming into mass protest and via RTI they are going to file case in High Court.

But immidaiately, CM Manik Sarkar called them to his own residence and heard their allegation.

However, CM Manik sarkar also asked them to submit their allegations in a written form so that CM himself can inquire into the matter. After that event, the Tripura Govt. has noticed stay order on those jobs, which is showing Chief Minister’s plan-wise safety maintenance policy to save his own party.

But after that observing state Govt.’s silence on Wednesday, the deprived youths and their families hit the Agartala city with massive protests and met the CM and Fire Dept. Minister and asked both of tehm to take action soon, in this purpose.
