AGARTALA, May 19 (TIWN): Overwhelming with the response from different states and especially coming into power for the first time BJP state president said that people across the country are looking for a change and are reposing their faith in the party.

Talking to TIWN correspondent, BJP state president Biplab Deb said that people see BJP as a party to fulfil their dreams. 
Asserting that people across the country were reposing faith in BJP, he said the state governments run by the BJP were serving people in an exemplary manner. 
 He further said people across India were placing their faith in the BJP as the party headed for a win in Assam and grab a seat for the first time in Kerala.

The Bharatiya Janata Party was also set to win seven assembly seats in West Bengal. The BJP led in 78 of the 126 constituencies in Assam. The ruling Congress was almost decimated, cruising ahead in only 29 seats.

"Across India, people are placing their faith in (the) BJP and see it as the party that can usher in all-round and inclusive development," added Deb.

With victory in Assam for the first time under its belt, BJP feels that people have lost faith in the Congress and it is gaining popular support.

"After the election, I feel the people of the country have come to a conclusion that only BJP can give good governance," BJP state president added

Clamouring the call for the development of North Eastern states including Tripura, BJP state president Biplab deb also said that only BJP under the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi can bring development to the state. Criticizing the state ruled left front government, Deb said that days are not so far when the people themselves will threw away the government from the state and will give a call to corruption free government.

None of the government at the central has so far thought about the development of the NE states and only after BJP came into power, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the initiative to eye for the development of the NE states including Tripura, added Deb.

Emphasizing on the issue of development he also said BJP will keenly look after the welfare schemes and infrastructure development in Tripura.
