AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): Uncertainty looms large over the much awaited case of NRHM scam, despite of passage of several months that the case came in to lime light accused are yet roaming free.
It seems like authority is least bothered to take strict action against the accused and letting them to roam free in the state.
Where the state government claims to stand beside the common mass, when time comes to take real action the ruling government is least bothered to take any kind of action.
After several; months has been passed of the issue came into lime light, the concern authority is least bothered to make any progress in the case and take strict action against the accused.
Where several families are hit with poverty, few illicit officials embezzles huge amount of Government fund for their own benefit.
It is to be mentioned here that after the former NHM Mission Director Dr. Sandeep N Mahatme has filed FIR against 17 Medical officials, till date no action is taken against the accused.
It seems like loopholes in the police investigation is yet successful in saving the prime accused involved in the NRHM scam.
It is worthy to be mentioned that former NRHM (National Health Mission) Mission Director Dr. Sandeep N Mahatme has atleast took the initiatives to file FIR against 17 Medical officials for direct involvement in the embezzlement in Kailashahar and North Tripura. Dr. Mahatme filed FIR against 17 Doctors.
FIR is filed against 12 Medical officials of North District CMO office and 5 Medical officials of Unakoti District CMO office including Former CMO Unakoti Dr. Dilip Das, Present CMO Dr Alak Dewan, Dr Subhas Barua, Dr. S.N. Chaudhury, and Dr. Debashis Talapatra.
However, till day no progress has been reported regarding the case. It seems like the case will longer in the name of investigation and loopholes.
Where in the ruling Government would have taken initiatives to stop the scam in the State, It seems like the Government is in yawning siesta.
