KAMALPUR, May 11 (TIWN): The misappropriation of funds of Kamalpur Bus Terminus development Committee remained unresolved till date. Further, the party leadership became keen to suppress the entire happenings from media. It happened so as the name of a CITU leader close to the present Sub-divisional Party Secretary Anjan Das came under scanner in this huge loot.

The Bus Terminus misappropriation saga already created much wave in the party. Especially, the publication of the matter in different Medias made the party leadership offended and they almost served the order to the party workers to be shut up in the matter.

In the meanwhile, the name of a CITU leader, Mr. Debnath, who used to be close to the party sub-divisional Secretary Anjan Das came under scanner in this saga.

The alleged manager Ratan Sutradhar was his close aide and he was vested with the overall power from the party to look into the day to day proceedings of the committee and the works of the manager.

Many party workers and supporters expressed their view on the condition of anonymity that, Mr. Debnath practiced the looting of funds in several occasions and got the clean chit from the leadership.  As a result, taking the manager in his favor, this time he executed bigger embezzlement.

Now, the boss of the party in this sub-division, Mr. Anjan Das, who often claimed to be the most honest and the hardest opponent of any embezzlement got into a dilemma.

It might be mentioned here that, after the manager of the Terminus Development Committee Ratan Sutradhar got the job in Forest Department it got revealed that, the accounts of the Committee got completely embezzled. Even the Bank pass book and the deposit slips got vanished.

The amount of gobbled money might be not less than 12, 00, 000 rupees according to the latest assumption.
