AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): Despite of several months have passed, State Government is least bothered to pay the pending bill of Rs. 69 crores.
According to the official report, till the month of December, 2015 a total bill of around Rs. 69 crores has been figured out by the Power Department.
Besides, it has also been confirmed that the Department has forwarded a detail copy of the pending bills to all the Government Department whose electricity bill crosses the limited line Rs. 1 lakh.
All the Government Departments whose bill had crossed Rs. 1 lakh, the department has been sent the bill details. Besides, it has been mentioned that accept Public Sector Undertaking companies all the other Departments under State Government were sent the bill details.
However, despite of several months has passed no response has been shown by the state government to solve out the pending bill.
Despite of several drawbacks in the State, Chief Minister Sarkar claims Tripura is developing. Criticizing the Central, he also said that no other party is working for the State only the Left Front is thinking about the development of the State.
However, where the state is facing several problems like acute scarcity of water, deplorable condition of roads and hospitals, CM Manik Sarkar is busy in claiming about the development in the state.
Now the question arises if the State Government does not pay the bills on time than how the TSECL will pay the bill to both the organization.
It is to be mentioned here that despite of stunning figures of pending bills; the power connection to the departments cannot not be disconnected as most of their services come under the emergency category.
