AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): After prolonged years of ruling in the state, the party has finally come up with a new agenda to make the party members more ideological.

What is the purpose of such ideology based party who can’t meet the need of the common people.

Concluding the 2 day long extended session of CPI-M Tripura state committee on Sunday; CPI-M state Secretary Bijan Dhar on Sunday in a press meet said that keeping the decision of the party plenum high, the party once again gave the clamour of becoming more ideological in the state.

Addressing the press meet t Party office, CPI-M state secretary further said that the two day long special meeting of CPI-M ended on a note that Tripura unit need to make the party members and local leaders more ideologically acquainted. The agenda is more important for those who entered the party in recent years.

However, he further said that the party have to reach to the ground level, need to understand the people of the state.

Dhar, also a CPI-M central committee member, said that regular party classes are being held and the party has been taking steps to guide the party men to remain on the right track.

Quality of party members is essential for us. The move of becoming more ideological is an endless task. It will be maintained that quality and the name of the party is maintained, Dhar said.

However, it is to  be mentioned here that extended session have decided to make the principles of the party familiar with the party leaders and the members of the Left Front Party to strengthen the party.

The party discussed about the ways to attract the youth and female to the party.

Besides, it has been acknowledged that at least 25 percent female should get in to party in 3 years of tenure. Besides, at least youth of 20 percent youth must be targeted between the 18- 31years of age.
