TELIAMURA, Feb 20 (TIWN) : Although during the 34rth ‘Book-Fair’ inauguration programme, Tripura Chief Minsiter Manik Sarkar blamed the BJP govt. for violating the history of India by changing the curriculums in schools, but under Manik Govt.’s era, school students of Tripura are forcing to attend political rallies during school hours.

Innocent students who would hold books in their hands, have been forced to hold CPM’s banners and to attend in political rallies, whereas the real meaning of those banners they might not understand yet.

It seems that students here have no Educational rights, but they have to follow the long queues rallies arranged by SFI.

According to the sources, along with the whole state, at kalyanpur also, school students from various places, participated in rallies which were organized by CPM’s local committee at there.

The aim of the protest rally was to bring JNU’s Student Union’s (JNUSU) President  Kanhaiya Kumar’s release, whereas everyone knows, he is involved in making wrong comments against his own country.

However,  there are so many issues happening in the state, hundreds of rape-incidents and murders but CPM here although do not have objection  for all these, but they are easily coming on the roads and protesting against the problems occurring in other states.

They also during the rally protested against the political groups as RSS, BJP and ABVP.

However, it’s to be mentioned here that CPM & Cong.’s continuous improving relations are becoming visible as it’s now almost clear that CPM and Cong have got together to wipe out BJP at any cost. In Tripura students on behalf of CPM, via SFI are protesting against :

1.     The attack of police at JNU was illegal and totally barbaric,

2.     To arrest the SFI leader for wrong charges brought against him,

3.     Police’s attack during the protest time of SFI,

4.     RSS and ABVP’s attack upon Dehradun’s SFI office.

However, whereas students here are protesting against the problems of outside, on the other hands here students have no freedom to protest against the deplorable condition of schools.

Tripura’s schools have no infrastructure, not sufficient number of teachers, no quality education, but Govt. here is carefree to release the students for political rally by shutting down the classes.

As per rule, no school-authority can release its students like this, if they do action can be taken against them.
