AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): After jolt of weeks finally fresh bottling begins at Bishalgarh gas bottling plant in full fledged manner.

Talking to TIWN correspondent, official of Food Department on Thursday said that though the gas bottling was less for few days due to some issue among the workers but from February 17 the bottling has started in full fledged manner.

Mentioning about number of gas bottling, he further mentioned that altogether 19 trucks of LPG cylinder has been supplied.

Besides, he also mentioned that day by the number of gas bottling will increase.

Stressing over the less number gas bottled when problems among the workers has been observed around 12 trucks of the cylinder of cooking gas has been supplied due to which it has become difficult to meet the need of the common mass.

Further, he mentioned that now everything is under control.  Already 360 cylinders have been delivered, said the official.

Besides, he also mentioned that to meet the requirement of the people on February 17 a total of 13 truck of cylinder has arrived at the State from Silchar.

However, to meet the need of the State’s public of 12 LPG cylinders in a year a boost is required which can be fulfilled after the establishment of the new gas bottling plant.

Besides, IOC is planning to install an oil depot at Shekerkut. On the other hand, earlier the State Government has demanded to IOC to provide 24 wagons.

On the other hand, despite of the introduction of the modified direct benefit transfer scheme for LPG with an aim to curb down the rampant black marketing of cooking gas, black marketers are yet continuing with their illicit crime.

According to the sources reports, despite the consumers book their cylinder months ago yet they receive their subsidised cylinder from the yearly quota after two or three month.

However, despite of booking LPG Gas Cylinder Refill Booking through SMS people had to wait for long time to collect the cooking gas. The situation leads the consumers to go for the cooking gas from black market.
