AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): Reluctant to comment over the hatred speech made by VHP president Pravin Togadia which has sparked controversy in the political frame, BJP state President Biplab Deb said that VHP is totally an independent organisation and state BJP is not relevant to make any statement.

Talking to TIWN correspondent, BJP president Biplab Deb, rather than commenting over the hatred speech delivered by VHP president Pravin Togadia he counter attacked the statement made by Opposition congress and CPI-M party in the state.

He further said that it is not VHP but Congress who has been spreading hatred in the country. It is congress who has lead to partition of India.

However, he also said that both congress and CPI-M lacks patriotism among themselves, these are the parties who have been encouraging divisive politics.

It is to be mentioned here that Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international working president Pravin Togadia in a visit to the state said that the Muslims who intruded the country including Tripura should be returned back to Bangladesh to make an ‘infiltrator free’ state as well as country which has sparked resentment among the minority class.

The Centre should provide Indian citizenship to all the Hindu migrants who have come over here. But, if the Muslim infiltrators claim Indian citizenship, they have to undergo genetic test first’ has sparked off controversy among the political circle of the opposition party.

However, both opposition and ruling have condemned Tagodia’s word and strongly criticised the inflammatory speeches made by VHP leader Prabin Tagodia.

On the other hand Tripura Pradesh congress has demanded to lodge suo-moto case against VHP president Pravin Togadia for delivering hatred speech in the state in a programme at Agartala.
