AGARTALA, Jan 17 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, a married daughter has allegedly beaten her mother on Sunday morning at her resident at Chandrapur Jamtala.
According to the police sources, it has been mentioned that daughter Ritu Debnath has allegedly beaten her mother Paranga Bala Debnath (70) who is the resident of Chandrapur Jamtala.
It has been mentioned that her daughter Ritu Debnath has been married and staying with her husband at Hariyana.
Police said that though the 70-year old victim has not registered any complaint against her daughter but still the police are going to forward a document to the court.
So far it is being suspected that the daughter has beaten up her mother on property dispute.
The incident is of Sunday morning when the mother and daughter were just sitting for the meal and the dispute started.
However, getting alarm about the incident East Police on Sunday rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
However, violation against women has become a daily feed for the newspapers and other media channels. Every now and then incidents of violation against women have been coming up in the State.
The incident includes- rape cases, domestic violence, human trafficking, murder and many other crimes against women.
The overall scenario of crime against women in Tripura is increasing at an alarming rate.
Tension prevails with this tragic incident among the locals of Chandrapur Jamtala.
Of late crime against women are increasing at an alarming rate which includes torture, rape, murder and various other illicit act on the women by miscreants and sometimes by the family members themselves.
Despite of organizing various seminars and meetings in order to curb down the rising crime against women, day by day more number or incidents are being reported.
However, the authority must take a strict initiatives to curb down the rising crime against women.
