AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): Keeping eye on the upcoming civic poll, ruling Government has been observed so busy with the election campaign that most of the time the chamber of the Ministers remains vacant at the Civil Secretariat. Reportedly, people from various places visit the Secretariat but find none present at the there. It is to be mentioned here that as the people could not meet the Ministers in their chambers, they are unable to discuss their problems and many of the works are lagging behind. However, compare to any other parties in the State, Left Front Party is far ahead with the election campaign.Though the ruling party is ahead with the campaigning but the absence of Ministers at the secretariat is causing problem for the common people.Allegation has been raised that due to the absence of Ministers in their chambers many are facing problem on signing up any paper. Keeping eye on the upcoming Agartala Municipal Corporation, ten Municipal Councils and six nagar panchayet election to be held onDecember 9, all the political parties are doing their best in campaigning. The awful situation of the State does not end here; under the 22 years of Manik’s regime many educated youths remains unemployed, knocking every door for a job but end up driving an auto rickshaw or working outside the state. On one hand where the state’s public is facing prolonged harassment due to poor health service, deplorable condition of Anganwadi Centres, on the other hand, the claimed poor CM of the State visits the interior part of the State through helicopter, not to take notice of the people but to brain wash the people for gaining votes.

However, before the election where all the political parties enthusiastically unveil several party manifestos with several promises but later after winning the election the bundles of promises turn in to empty promises.
