KAMALPUR, Dec 4 (TIWN): She came, boosted up the morale of the workers and she left. That’s the summary of the BJP leader cum erstwhile ‘Draupadi’ of the mega serial Mahabharat, Rupa Ganguli’s sudden visit at Kamalpur this afternoon. After getting the responsibility for the state in the ensuing urban bodies’ election, she was on her way to Dharmanagar. Taking a break she visited Kamalpur. She got acquainted with all the contestants from BJP. She spent some time with the commoners and took a sip of tea from a road side tea-stall.

Naturally, people gathered by the roadside to watch the former actress for a moment. She also found enjoying the gathering a bit. While talking to the media persons, she admitted that BJP here still remained under the process of strengthening. But in near future BJP would be the only alternative for the people here. However, people here became more attracted to see the olden beauty than to listen to one BJP leader. And probably fearing her lack of organizational pros and cons of BJP, the state leader Sundar Pal summarily rejected the arranged press meet.
