AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): Spending lakhs of public funds where the so called poor Chief Minister of Tripura visits the interior part of the State via helicopter, thousands of mother and children are deprived from the nutritious food facility in the Anganwadi of the State.Chief Minister Manik Sarkar most of the time claims that the State Government is helping the needy mother and children by providing nutritious foods at all the Anganwadi centres, but allegation has been raised by the locals that the prolonged negligence of the State Government has left the Anganwadi in deplorable condition. Despite of prolonged poor condition of the Anganwadi Centres in the State, the ruling Government is least bothered about it. It is to be mentioned here that though the State public is facing several problems the ruling Government never forgets to attend any party promotional rally or any election campaign.

Central Government sponsored mid-day-meal scheme main purpose was enhancing enrolment of children in schools, improving the nutritional status, health of children.

Locals complained that despite of 90 percent of allowance for the Anganwadi centres are allotted by the Central Government the State Government is unable to meet the need of 10 percent in the State.

Many mother and children are suffering from unhealthy food supply in the centres. Besides, the numbers of beneficiaries are also declining in the Anganwadi centres due to low quality food.

Locals claimed that they have been complaining regarding the poor situation of the State but till day no initiatives have been taken to meet the need of the beneficiaries.

Reportedly, numbers of Anganwadi centres are at the verge of shutting down. Altogether there are 9, 911 Anganwadi centres in the State covering 3.50 lakh of beneficiaries but with negligence of the state government the number of beneficiaries are declining day by day.

It is to be mentioned here that where they do not get time to hear the problems of the common people, on the other hand the same Ministers gets time to attend rallies and to claim high that the left rule government works for the people and takes care of their needs.

Therefore, the reality seems opposite to what the ruling government claims every time they address the people.

Only to brainwash the mind of people ahead of election and woo the people for gaining votes in favour of left front, CM Manik Sarkar himself is attending rallies to woo the voters.

Eyeing forward to strengthen their base for the upcoming assembly 2018, CM Manik Sarkar has started preparation to clearly sweep victory in full swing.

However, where the authority claims that State Government is running lack of fund for the providing nutritious food to the Anganwadi centres, on the other hand CM takes helicopter ride to visit the interior parts of the State.
