PCC demands to establish a railway division at Dharmanagar

KAILASHAHAR, Dec 4 (TIWN): Acting on the tip of a letter sent by the Vice-President of the All India Congress Committee Rahul Gandhi to submit some of the major issues of the State, Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee President Birajit Sinha on Thursday said that till now the committee has decided to send four issues.

Detailing about the major issues, PCC President mentioned that thinking about the welfare of the people of the State AICC will put up the issue of Kailashahar Airport in the winter session of the parliament. Besides, they will demand to reopen the airport for the betterment of the people.

Mention about the other demands, PCC President said that a demand will be placed to establish a railway division at Dharmanagar. Besides, they will be demanding to set up a border haat at Kailashahar.

However, he also mentioned that earlier around 1.30 lakh tribal families were allotted with land. Among them many did not get any land yet. Therefore, a demand will be placed to provide land to the needy families as soon as possible.

Besides, he also mentioned that if possible he will include some more issues talking to the other members of the party.

In a press conference organized at Kailashahar, PCC President Sinha also mentioned that if the party wins the municipal election they will make a master plan for further development in the municipality area of the State.

He also mentioned that party will work according to the party manifesto and will work for the benefits of the common people.

However, keeping eye on the upcoming civic poll all the political parties geared up with the campaign in full-fledged manner. The regular rallies and foot marches are being organized by the political parties.

Crores of money spent for this decoration and campaign, only to brainwash the mind of people ahead of election and woo the people for gaining votes in favour of the parties and the nominated candidates.
