KAMALPUR, Dec 3 (TIWN): The CM of ‘golden Tripura’ Manik Sarkar uttered not a single word while addressing a mass meet in favor of his party’s candidates for Ambassa Municipal Corporation at TRTC ground here at Ambassa on Wednesday.

In the mass meet the CM once again toort resort to lies,  trumpeted the same record of development in front of the crowd gathered maximum from outside the municipal corporation area.Addressing the meet the CM said, “People of Ambassa elected the Congress candidate last time to run the Nagar Panchayat. But the Congress ruled Corporation failed to usher true development. They got dipped in the corruption and failed to expense as big as 6, 00, 00000 of rupees. There was a time when Ambassa was far away from development. Then Kulai was the centre of development and trade and commerce of the region. Later, under the rule of the leftist governments, the development in Ambassa started. And now Ambassa became the municipal corporation. Still, more development got to be achieved'.

And for this, the CPI-M candidates should be elected for attaining the high mark of development. This time, the people of Ambassa would not repeat the same fault of choosing the opponents.”

But the CM not uttered a single word about the forest land dweller 2265 families of the corporation, who got living on forest land since 1980 at wards 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 11 and 13. The CM also not spent a word about the problem of water-lodging on NH-44 at Ambassa during monsoon for decades. This created much astonishment among the locales here.
