AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): Altogether 66 science project has been observed during the two-day long State Level Children’s Science Congress held at Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel.
During the two-day long programme, the second technical session has been organized on Thursday. Altogether 66 students below 17-year from various schools of the State participated in State Level Children’s Science Congress, inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Wednesday.
At the programme, the selected students will be sent to Chandigarh to participate in the National Level Children’s Science Congress 2015.
The Children’s Science Congress organized by Tripura Vigyan Sabha. The theme of Children’s Science Congress is Weather and Climate.
National Children's Science Congress (NCSC) provides the children of 10 to 17 years from all over the country a unique opportunity to use their scientific temperament and knowledge to make their own dreams come true.
National Children's Science Congress (NCSC) was initiated in the year 1993.
The programme provides a platform for the young scientist to display their creativity and allows them to gain more knowledge as well as solve many problems also be relating the learning process to the physical and social environment of the neighbourhood.
However, it also encourages the children throughout the country to utilize their knowledge of science to create innovative things with the use of science.
