BJP District President Ranjan Sinha alleges CPI (M) for tempting people with money a head of Municipal election

KAILASHAHAR, Oct 16 (TIWN): BJP District President Ranjan Sinha on Thursday alleged that CPI (M) trying to tempt the people belonging to Tripura Urban Employment Programme of 15 wards under Kailashahar Municipal Council lead by CPI (M) by giving cash of Rs. 310 each in the name of Puja allowance ahead of ensuing Municipal and Nagar Panchayat Election.

It has been mentioned that a total of 800 people holding TUEP job card of 15 wards under Kailashahar Municipal Council lead by CPI (M) were being given allowance but the list of the number is more and list also include the people who are not holding any job card under TUEP, added BJP District President.

Keeping eye on the ensuing Municipal and Nagar Panchayat Election, the CPI (M) is trying to tempt the people so that they can get more votes in the upcoming election, said Sinha. He further mentioned that along people belonging to BPL category in urban areas, others who are not belonging to TUEP are also provided with allowance, aiming to collect more votes.

Though the authority have been providing cash for last 3 years but this time large scale of people has been covered, aiming to ensure more votes, alleged Sinha.

Reportedly, people of total 4 wards were provided with puja allowance of Rs. 310 on Wednesday and six wards were covered on Thursday. The remaining wards will be covered in the coming days.

The implementation of Tripura Urban Employment Programme meant for people belonging to BPL category in urban areas.
