AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): With Durga Puja knocking at the door, Tripura Police all set with massive security arrangements in the capital under the stewardship of SP (West) Bijoy Kumar Nag.
In order to avoid any untoward incident in the capital, an assistance booth at Kaman Chowmuhani has been inaugurated. Besides, many other assistance booths will be inaugurated in many other major parts of the state. The area includes Battala, North Gate and many other areas.
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dr Prafullajit Sinha formally launched the booth on Sunday.
With just one week left for the auspicious occasion to begin, thousands of people are visiting the capital mostly in the city to do all kind of shopping. This booth will be of immense help to assist traders and buyers besides emergency services.
Any kind of thief incidents and scuffle occurs in the nearby area people could approach the Policemen in the booth, who would rush to the spot and alert the nearest Police Station.
In order to control any kind of untoward incident, the police personals are present so that the traders and buyers are not harassed in the crowd.
