Santirbazar, Oct 11 (TIWN): Students of Holy Cross School at Santirbazar Taikurma , honored and expressed their gratitude towards parents, as they are the models and monitors of the children in the family, through a colorful mega cultural event.

This mega celebration was focused on the theme Literacy expressing an urgent need for education and thirst for knowledge. The students proclaimed that they are being educated to make the less fortunate educated. 

Minister Manindra Reang, was the Chief Guest at the function.  He pointed out the pivotal role of parents in a family and appreciated the school management for their noble contribution in building a great nation by shaping these tiny hearts and minds in the traditions of our society.

The principal of the school gave a brief and attractive report on the school happenings and developments. He invited the children to grow in being grateful to God and to one another for all the blessings we receive every day. Over five hundred kids entertained the illustrious gathering with a spirit of exuberance and exultant joy.
