AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): As a part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Tripura Technical Employees Association, a hall meeting has been organized on Saturday at Matangini Pritilata.

It is to be mentioned here that the association has been established in the year 1966, October 11. The Tripura Technical Employees Association will complete its 50years of journey on October 11.

Addressing the crowd on Saturday, Revenue Minister Badal Choudhury said that it is very for an organization to stick to a single goal and to accomplish 50 years. Appreciating the achievement of the association, Minister Choudhury congratulated the members of the association.

However, criticizing the NDA led BJP Government; Minister Badal Choudhury said that the Central Government has not being taking any initiatives for the farmers. Therefore, the rates of the suicides of the farmers are increasing day by day.

He also claimed that earlier the percent of farmer’s suicide has increased. Besides, several industries are closed due to which many labours have lost their job.

The programme has been inaugurated by Revenue Minister Badal Choudhury in the presence Secretary of the Association Shuchi Lal Saha, Former Secretary Haran Majumder and others.
